I’m like running out the door right now while I post this! But if I do have any faithful readers, I just had to post this little sneak peak from Raeleigh’s shoot yesterday. She didn’t really wanna cooperate, and the sun was really bright. BUT, of course we still got some killer good shots!! Here’s one:

Ok, so there’s not any time to blog my whole session from last night. I can’t believe how busy I am. I’ve had work every day since Saturday, and one today, one tomorrow. I get to skip Thursday, but only cause I’m driving to Fort Worth all day!! Then one Friday-Sunday! WHEW!!! Some photographers say they specialize in SOMETHING. I can’t ever really figure out what it is I specialize in. PETS?? Shoot, I dunno. So I never really say. All I say is I DON’T specialize in WEDDINGS!!! HAHAHAHAH. But anyways, when I’m asked to do a family portrait, I usually cringe. But lately that hasn’t been the case. They are getting fun! Especially when I have AWESOME familys to work with. I love with someone says, I just want something fun and out of the ordinary. Well YOU CAME TO THE RIGHT GAL!!! Fun is my MIDDLE name!!! heheheh. This is only my opinion, but the following picture is perfect. To me. Only downfall is DAD wasn’t in it. But if I was a mom (and I hopefully will be one day!!), this would make my heart melt.
As a photographer, there are some things I would change. I just snapped the picture really quickly, no time to think. But that aside, I LOVE IT. I hope Dawn does too. She has some beautiful kids. They were a little leary of the camera at first but warmed up QUICKLY. Especially the older of the two, Cale, I swear he’ll be a model!

Ok, so I’ve pretty much never had this much fun. And on a FAMILY portrait session (which I usually hate!). We laughed really hard. And puppy Mylee was so cooperative, for having just met me! These are most of the pictures. I’m gonna stop for tonight, cause I’m sleepy. But I have another family portrait tomorrow and then Raeleigh (see her dance pictures in a post below!) causual pictures session on Tuesday. Here’s a couple from today.

Anyways. Shot a wedding last night. Well, SECOND shot a wedding with Tifanie from LLM Photography. Interesting wedding. To say the least. But I’m happy with my photos.

Sad faaaaaaaace. So I figured it would give me a chance to learn my way around the NEW TOTALLY RAD ACTIONS! That’s what they’re called, and it’s fitting, cause they are sooooooooooooooo TOTALLY RAAAAAAAD. New stuff will be coming your way shortly I promise. I’m second shooting my first wedding tomorrow! I’m excited, cause I love weddings, but hate the pressure and stress. So this is like the best of both worlds. Then I have a killer fun family portrait on Sunday and a couple other fun things next week. Then NEXT WEEKEND is the big weekend. The upcoming bridals of the GORGEOUS Jessica from the “Jessica & Cody – Engagements”. And also something you’ve never seen from me before. Hope it all works out as planned. Some other fun sessions too planned for while I’m in Fort Worth. So I guess my actions will be put to some use Ya think!!!
So far this is my favorite action. I just like the feeling it portrays.
This one is similar, but I added a little contrast to bump it up a notch.
In other news, my sis is going outta town so I finally get the chance to babysit my god-childcat, Lulu. She’s driving me crazy already, but then she fell asleep on my arm and I forgot all about the biting and scratching!!

SHE’S BACK!
I’m far from finished with this set of pictures. But I’m taking a much needed break to post some of my favs so far for all to see….and comment I’m trying to do things a little different. I like drama. I like dramatic lighting. And this was the perfect wedding to try some new things. I personally don’t like when lighting is perfectly even. I know some photographers (my father included) would probably look down on me for saying that…but, hey, when has that ever stopped me. I want people to scroll through my blog with a big smile on their face. I want people to look at a picture and tilt their head sideways and say “Aw” or “wow”. If you do this while looking at this post, then I have succeeded in my mission!

One of Cherie’s maid of honors (would that be how you say it, she had two…hmmmm…I dunno!) did all the girl’s makeup. She did a rockin awesome job if I might say so. Here’s a couple of her in action.

Oh and I am going to get all the names from the people involved in this wedding and post them up on here. The DJ kept the party going and was awesome. The coordinator, unfortunatly, is retiring, cause she DID THE GREATEST JOB EVER! And the food and the cakes were delicious!
Sorry, ya’ll havn’t miss much. NOTHING is going one. Well other then the fact that my camera broke AGAIN. Second time in two months. I wish I could return it and get my 5D…..oh to dream. Well I havn’t been up to much. Shot Cherie and Marcus’s wedding last night. Luckily my camera waited till the end of the night to break. THANK YOU MEL FOR SAVING MY LIFE.
