Some FUN stuff!!

Had a lonnnnnnnnnng day yesterday. But it was so worth it. A friend of mine has 5 kids. 2 sets of twins and one boy. Yea, I know, MOTHER OF THE YEAR! Needless to say, I didn’t attempt a group picture, so me and my friend Shannon had some fun ideas to try. Here is the result!!

And then, after all that! I got to go out into the dead heat and photograph two b-e-a-utiful girls!! Most of you know Mary Beth, now add her cousin Katie!!!

And Katie, WILL DEFINATLY be modeling with me again!!!

I’m not good

Mini session

So, even though I’m still slightly behind, I went ahead and finished this session. It was just a mini anyways. And it’s my cousin that lives in TN and she’s going back home Thursday, so I wanted to finish before she leaves. She wants to be a model, and I personally think she’s got a great shot at it!!!

And I just love this image. I wanted to share it with all of you!!

What I’m doing.

Well, first of all, it’s 12:21 a.m. and I SHOULD be sleeping. But of course, I’m up, in bed, on the laptop watching Fraiser. I attended a wonderful wedding this past weekend. It was a blast and I felt so welcome there. Awesome awesome people. Then Sunday, spent half the day with my Daddy of course, and the other half working . Dad says the hurricane is coming July 16-19, according to Farmer’s Almanac and my husband (aka Kurtis Atkinson – Meteorologist) So mark your calenders people!!! And then this morning………WAS SO HOT! But luckily I got to photograph one of my favorite people, miss Madison Claire!! She’s beautiful and I’m so glad her mommy and me have become friends. I feel lucky that she chooses me each time to photograph her beautiful child. Well I’m not finished with any of these sessions, but I’ll post a little peep of each one.

I’m really trying to put the flash away and work with the available light I have. I was lucky that the DJ had these kick a** strobes, so I did the best I could. 3200 ISO and a very steady hand.

And in color, the strobe was hot pink. Which I thought I would hate in a photograph, but I like how it sets the mood. Call me weird, I dunno!!

Perfect lighting outside in the prayer garden outside of the church after the ceremony.

And my motto, photography isn’t about taking pictures, it’s about capturing moments. And I have to admit, I LOVE THIS MOMENT.

And here’s a little sneak peak at Madison. Isn’t she the most beautiful thing ever!!!

Oh, and I’m also finishing up Miss Raeleigh’s dance pictures. I’m finally done!! Yipee!!! After her birthday party, we are doing a casual session. I have no doubt they will be FRIGGIN AWESOME! Cause, duh, she’s a little supermodel!!!

Ok, so this little girl WILL be a model one day. I can already tell with the way she works the camera!!! I love doing her picture. Now I’m off to set up her mom a myspace!!! Duh, Katie, get with the program!! This is only outfit one. I still have two more to edit, but I’m tired, so I’ll post these for now! Special photoshoot tonight.

Cause I FINALLY convinced my hubby to take some reeeeeal pictures!! You know, I mean, not the ones where you both squeeze in and hold the camera up in the air while trying to push the shutter with your arm in the weirdest position. Yea, something BESIDES that! The most awesome rockin photographer will be accompanying us. Cause you know, it’s kinda difficult to take pictures of yourself. So stay tuned and as soon as she has the pics up, I’ll let ya’ll know. It’s gonna be fun!! I’m not used to being on that side of the camera, so ya know, I had to practice. Me and my bathroom mirror has a great photoshoot about 10 minutes ago. This is the result!

Yea, this is what Dawn has to work with. I know, whew, she’s got a task ahead of her!

Me and Canon, we’re the best of friends.

And, yes, I do plan on actually fixing my hair for this shoot!

**Update**  Just got home and havn’t seen the pictures yet, and already know that Dawn is the greatest!!!  My husband even had a good time taking pictures!! Which is definatly a first!!  She’s the bomb and we had a blast!

Best day EVER

Well maybe not ever, but pretty close!!!!  I can’t say enough good things about this couple.  We started out this morning in the steaming hot taking her bridals.  She was carrying around that reeeeeally heavy dress while sweating, and she never stopped laughing. NEVER!  When we were done, her family invited me into their home for a barbque home cooked meal!!  Complete with the most delicious cake ever!   Cherie’s mom and dad are so special and I’m so blessed to be able to work with them all.  I can’t share the bridals of course cause Marcus is obssessed with trying to take a peek….But he was upset that she got to take bridals by herself and he didn’t get his own groom session.  Well we had no tux, but later after the wedding he’s promised to do a hot sexy modeling session with me over in Tiger country.

10 minute photo shoot

Terrible things always happen to me at the worst times!!! I’m out shootin some fun pics with my sis and my camera just breaks. Still takes pictures, just the screen and the menu won’t work. Geez. Couldn’t have come at a better time. I’m broke as hell, now have to come up with 150 bucks to rent a camera! Fun times. Thankfully Jade (the coolest chick ever) is letting me borrow hers for the kick ass bridal I have this weekend. So hopefully it’ll all work out. Sending it to Canon tomorrow, so fingers crossed that it’s not a big issue. We had some hot pictures lined up with some really cool outfits. Unfortunatly we only got to one of those. Had another really sexy shoot lined up for tomorrow with two adorably hot brunettes, but that’ll have to wait until next week! Anyways, so here are a couple we got before all hell broke loose.

My sis decided to die her hair black practically.  I didn’t know about it at first, but after the pics, I’m lovin it!

This one is a little different.  But I’m always up for new things.  And I do think I really like it.  The texture is a little strong.  If I printed it, I’d tone that down a bit.  But I really like how much she stands out.

Of course, this one is my favorite.  Definatly going up in my house.  My sis is so beautiful!

Trying to be sexy and not look mean
