I can’t believe 2007 is almost over! I remember back in the ’90s, when I thought that 2010 sounded so futuristic. Ha! That’s only 2 years away now! Man I’m getting old… I love Christmas. I love the way people treat each other (for the most part). It’s a shame we can’t all be this giving year round. Christmas is a good time to slow down and think about all the things we are thankful for. I am so thankful that I have a wonderful husband. He’s always there loving me, no matter what. My family, my friends, my dogs, my cats.
Isn’t she beautiful!
I have food on the table (most of the time
) and a roof over my head. Which is much more then alot can say. But this year, I am most thankful for our military. So many of these men and women are going to spend Christmas in a place that is horrible. Without their family, without their friends, and sometimes, without even a roof over their head. So everyone should stopping running around like crazy people, and slow down. Look at Christmas lights. Listen to a Christmas song. Buy a present for someone you wouldn’t normally think of. Send a Christmas card to Iraq. You may not think you are making a difference, but you are. To someone. Thanks for reading! And I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!
